What you will need:
A hook. A size 6 boilie beak hook is a good place to start.
Braided hook link.
Baiting needle.
Hair stop.
Scissors.
Cut around 12 - 14 inches of hook link.
Tie a simple overhand loop knot in one end.
Trim off the tag end of the knot.
Ideally, you are looking for the loop to be around 1/4 inch / 6-8mm.
Place a 14-18mm boilie on the needle.
Pass the point of the needle through the loop from the last step.
Carefully pull the loop through the boilie.
Pass the tail end of the hook link through the back of the hook eye.
Keeping everything tight - start wrapping the hook link up the shank of the hook.
7 or 8 wraps will be good, but you could aim for the last wrap to be in line with the point of the hook.
Moisten the wraps with saliva, and pull the tail end of the hook link to set the knot.

You have now tied a Knotless Knot. This knot will be used in many of the rigs on thehairrig.com
Tie a figure 8 loop knot in the tail end of the hook link.

Try to get the loop around 1" / 25mm long.

Remember to moisten all knots prior to pulling tight.

The Standard Hair Rig. Done.

Note: The 1" loop is perfect for many ways of terminating your rig to your mainline. See TIPS for more details.
