KD Rig
A step by step guide on how to tie a KD rig.
Use: Wafter or bottom bait.
Difficulty: Easy.
What you will need:
Size 6 Korda Krank hook.
Coated hook link - Korda Kamo works well for this rig.
Tungsten putty.

Cut around 12 - 14 inches of hook link.
Take off around 5" of hook link coating.
Tie a simple overhand loop knot in one end.
Trim off the tag end of the knot.

Start whipping up the hook, as you would a knotless knot.
6 or 7 wraps.

Fold back the hair and add two more wraps.
Pass the tail end of the hooklink through the back of the hook eye.
Moisten and pull tight.

Tie a figure 8 knot in the tail end.
Add a small amount of tungsten putty to the middle of the rig.
This will pin down the rig.
