Combi Rig
A step by step guide on how to tie a Combi rig.
Use: Bottom bait. Wafter. Pop Up.
Difficulty: Medium.
What you will need:
Size 6 Korda Wide Gape.
15lb Korda IQ.
ESP Sink Link Braid 15-25lb. This is a very supple braid.
Tungsten putty.
Fine bore silicone tube.
Note: This rig works exceptionally well with the Blow Back Rig.

Cut around 6 inches of Sink Link.
Tie an overhand loop.
Cut 2-3mm of tube and slide that up the braid.
Tie an overhand loop.
Cut 2-3mm of tube and slide that up the braid.
Pass the point of the hook through the tubing.
Tie a 5 turn knotless knot.
Moisten, and pull tight.
Moisten, and pull tight.
Cut around 12 inches of IQ and form a loop.
Pass the braid down through the top of the loop.
This is the start of the Albright knot.

Wrap the tag end of the braid 5 turns down the loop.
Pass the tag end of the braid back up through the loop.
Pass the tag end of the braid back up through the loop.
Moisten the knot.
Pull the tag ends of the braid and the IQ and pull tight.

Trim off the tag ends.
Tie a figure 8 loop knot in the IQ.
Add some putty over the knot.
Putty amount -
Bottom bait & wafter: Enough to cover the knot.
Pop-Up: Enough to balance the bait.
Add some putty over the knot.
